I discovered this great sign in a window a few days ago. Unfortunately, as I didn't read the building notices I'm not sure if it's an old establishment undergoing renovations or the promise of things to come. But while searching for info on the 'stizzy speak eazy,' I discovered this wonderful tidbit from "A Sicilian in East Harlem" by Salvatore Mondello:

I doubt the "stizzy speak eazy" was or will be quite as nefarious as Frank's speakeasy, but you never know.
