So this email just arrived in my inbox only minutes ago!!!:
Better Food. Better Prices. Delivered to More of Brooklyn!Hurray! I love the Park Slope Food Co-op but hate the commute from northern Bed-Stuy (1 hour by subway/35 minutes by bike, weather permitting) and the nearby Food Dimensions has its limitations. It's just good to have options. Hurray for options!
Deliveries begin 3/26/08, to more of Brooklyn. Orders may be placed now.

When I informed Joseph of this exciting news, he just shook his head. "Great, another sign of gentrification." Well my reply was, "Don't tell me the long time residents won't appreciate this news too. If they're delivering to us (the Gentrifiers) they're delivering to our whole block." Besides I've seen long time residents carrying Whole Foods bags back on the J train too.
Mind you, delivery to Brooklyn for a minimum $30 order is $5.49 plus tip. It might be a good idea to co-ordinate deliveries with a neighbour if you don't have a large grocery list to save on the added delivery charge.

I know the delivery fee is a little expensive ($5.49) that's why I got their DeliveryPass. It is only $59 for six months and it allows you to get free unlimited deliveries!! I love it!!!
Now with their low $30 minimum order I place orders whenever I feel like it and my fridge is always full of fresh products!
